Seguimos: Moving Forward with Science and Purpose
Seguimos means “we keep moving forward” and as behavior analysts, that movement is fueled by both science and purpose. What drew Dr. Lori Ochoa to behavior analysis was the science itself. A powerful framework for understanding behavior and maximizing human potential, in others and in herself. Growing up in a Latino family, she was also shaped by the values of perseverance and connection. These values have carried her throughout her life and continue to guide how she bridges science with purpose in her work today. Through Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), she discovered how clarity of values deepens our sense of purpose and supports us in living and leading with intention. In this keynote, participants will reflect on the values that brought them into the field, gain clarity on what matters most today, and learn how to transform that clarity into committed action. Together, we rise, lead, and move the field forward with science and purpose — because seguimos.
